I've been exploring my creativity lately through different styles of photography. I've been inspired to try some street photography, after seeing some of the great work on [link]

This is my first ever street shot. It's a lot harder than I thought it would be. Not so much camera settings, but more capturing people as they go about their day to day lives. It doesn't make it easy holding up the 70-200 2.8L in public without getting weird looks by people. This one old man and his dog gave me the evil eye when he saw me pointing it in his direction.

I'm going to be heading up to the Gold Coast in a few weeks, where the streets are busy with action. The plan is to hit the streets, I'm feeling optimistic about the trip seeing though the area I live in isn't really the place for street.

I would appreciate it if anyone had any tutorials on street photography they could send me, books they recommend, or some inspirational street photos they could share with me... Thanks everyone.
