Wishing Pool by DrewHopper Wishing Pool by DrewHopper
I was out experimenting as you do, thought I'd get a low perspective on this rock pool as it reflected the afternoons clouds.

Very cool idea going with a shallow dof. Makes the image seem almost otherworldly. Dig it. Keep experimenting :-)

It doesn't even look like a rock pool to me. It looks like a massive lake, and a mountain range. Very cool.

Gorgeous! There is a slight ripple in the water distorting the reflection, but that's really close to perfection! :D

It almost looks like someone has tossed a coin in the wishing pool with the way the water has rippled :)

Hmmm... Now that you mention it, it DOES look almost exactly like that. I sense a conspirator at work here! :XD:

I'm not overly happy with this one, just wanted to see what others think. Glad you like it.

Hm, I acutally disagree with rdalpes. I would've prefered a 2 exposure blending to add some sharpnes to the background as well and I think it would work better if it was black and white. But I must say that I love the perspective, since I'm always a fan of a very strong foreground, background relation in low angle photography. :)

That would also work, this is just an experiment really, wasn't going to submit it but thought I'd get some critique and what not :)

Hehe, well then I guess my post wasn't so inappropriate afterall. I often get a negative response to my critical posts. :)
