2/01/2013 - Turbulent Chaos from the top of Griffiths Mountain Lookout, 730 meters above sea level on the edge of Dorrigo Plateau & the New England Escarpment.
I wasn't out intentionally 'chasing' this storm, but I did have a fair idea that the weather was taking a turn for the worse, or in my situation the better. We arrived just after dusk (Karim, Tony and Jessica), and noticed this crazy storm front panning it's way across the coastline, working it's way north from Wauchope, NSW Australia. We stuck it out, and eventually it died off for around an hour. That was until it suddenly opened up again right before us and literally put us in the eye of the storm! An incredible evening of adrenaline, laughter and great company with amazing friends.
