The Golden Mile by DrewHopper The Golden Mile by DrewHopper
The leafs are falling, there's colour everywhere, and it's my favourite season to be outdoors shooting.

What was the shutter speed / fstop / iso combo you used for this shot?

I love this effect in any picture and I would love to learn how. And Im assuming I would need a tripod?

Yes, tripod is a must. Can't remember exactly the exposure here as I blended 2 exposures, one for the foreground and one for the background... Any exposure over a couple of seconds will achieve this silky effect on the water. Always set your aperture high say f/11 - 16 for a deeper dof, ISO 100 to keep noise low. Hope this helps :)

So on my 35mm, say like 1/4 exp. should work?

But thank you so much for the help! :)

It depends on the lighting, every scene is different. I recommend getting some ND filters, they come in handy :)
