Moods Of The Pacific - Diggers Beach - Mid North Coast - NSW, Australia.
I haven't really done a lot of monochrome seascapes, but I'm a big fan when the mood strikes. This image has a striking mood, which I felt suited the BW conversion perfectly. The low clouds over the ocean and silky water motion are really brought to life when converted to BW. I used an ND8 to help increase my exposure time by a second, just enough to streak the water even before the harsh light had faded.
