Magic Happens by DrewHopper Magic Happens by DrewHopper
I jammed on my breaks when I noticed this rainbow, as I was on my way for sunset at the beach. I've never jumped out of my car so fast in my life. I almost got cleaned up by a semi as I crossed the highway with my tripod and camera. I now know why horns were invented ;)

Look into the mirror first...
Look into the mirror first...
Look into the mirror first...

That's the mantra, mark it or else you'll have a car crashing into the back of yours every time you see a rainbow again!

Very nice! Rainbows always send photographers running. I saw a rainbow fragment last night above my neighbors house. Ran inside and grabbed my camera [link] And just a couple weeks ago, I saw a full 180-degree double rainbow [link]
Ahh now I sound like I'm spamming you lol. Anyway, congrats on this incredible shot! The capture of such an incredible scene was certainly worth slamming on the brakes ;)

Tell me about it. I wish I had a better foreground though, shame there's no pause button to pause mother nature whilst I find a good compo, but then I guess we'd all have the same photos then.

Good Lord Drew! No rainbow is worth dying over! ;)

Beautiful....I can see why you stopped for this one! Usually when I see rainbows, the shot is ruined by ugly buildings or signs.....man made stuff always seems to be in the way....
