Fairytale Ending by DrewHopper Fairytale Ending by DrewHopper
A fairytale ending to a very stormy week we've had. The twilight colours took over the beach, overwhelmingly surreal making it feel like a fairytale. Hope you enjoy.

What camera did you use for this shot?
This is stunning.
I live in a city far away from the coast.
To see the sea always pleases me.

Stunning colors. The softness of everything adds to the effect. Great title, it fits it well.

I'm starting to think I live in New Zealand lately. Must be all the dry weather we haven't had in 3 weeks.

Awesome work dude, epic stuff. You should be really chuffed with it.

Outta curiosity, since I know little on Landscape Photography,
Did you use any filters on this shot ?
Or adjust the colors much ?

Cause damn, theyre epic. :D

Just a hitech 0.6 hard edge grad to keep the sky in exposure. All colours are natural, just increased contrast to make them pop. Glad you like it champ.

Awesome dude.

I think thats something that I really want to invest in at some point soon.

I dont go away a lot and the area im in doesnt really have spectacular views. Also, my lens is a Canon 24-85mm f3.5-4.5 so its not the widest, but meh, I want to try. Need a break from portraiture for a little bit. :)

:D

I wouldn't mind getting more into portraiture myself actually. I am waiting to get the 580EXII first though.

You should go for it, theres so much possibility with it. :D

Im also keen to get the 580EXII. I have a Canon 7D so it fires automatically. Woot woot !
But hell its expensive, Damn ! :P

The flash fires automatically with the 7D? Do you mean when you slave the flash? (multiple flash units)

Yup. No Transmitter needed at all.

So you can have 3 groups of flashes with however many flashes in each group and it'll fire automatically.

Sadly, I havent had a chance to try it out but Im really hoping to. :D

Do you do a lot of selective colouring for the sky mate? Very colourful anyway.
Great work as always.
