Energy Point by DrewHopper Energy Point by DrewHopper
The weather has been fairly ordinary lately which is a shame, seeing though it's the beginning of spring. Haven't seen much clouds, but finally this afternoon was promising. Anyway this photo was taken at a new beach I discovered this afternoon, quite surprised actually with how isolated the point of the headland is, but it's still attached by land. The title isn't the name of the beach, the title came from the energy/atmosphere of the shoot.

This is one of my favorite pieces on DevArt. I would love to see this on my wall at home, and would be more than willing to pay for the privilage. PLEASE please please add this as a print!

Another stunning seascape shot. I hate you for living so close to the ocean. I have wanted to take shots like these for months.

Be careful what you say -- whenever I have $1,300 to spare in airfare, I might take you up on that. . .

Sounds good. Whenever I have the cash and time to spare, I'm heading down there. The whole freaking country is awesome. Plus, you have kangaroos.

Killer kangaroos actually, a girl was attacked by one as she walked home from school. Cut her forehead, left her in hospital. So now there's signs all around the area warning people not to approach them, unless you have a spear gun ;)

I think that the composition could have been a little stronger if you were further away from, or had a wider angle on the rocks. Personally, I think further away if possible would have been better.

I like how the clouds and the rocks seem to be oriented in the same direction though. Can't wait to see more from this location.

I agree with the title, and your justification for it. Great atmosphere and energy.

I somewhat agree with you even though this was taken with my 10-22mm so it is wide. Stepping back a few meters would have made a big difference in perspective. Although how the clouds and rocks are oriented in the same direction, if I was to step back the shape and pattern in the rocks change so I would have lost that effect. Thanks for the honest critique.
