Very solid comp Drew, are you using Gaussian Blur here?

Similar effect, I do it all myself with brushes and image soften the areas that I feel need that orton feel. Glad you like it.

It looks really good. It gives your images your own personal style which is important for any photographer. So are you using masks to blend specific areas w the Gaussian blur?

Yes that would be correct, gaussian blur on a very low opacity and decreased contrast in those areas where the blur was applied. Hope that explains it. I'm not crash hot when it comes to PS and explaining my methods, I just do what I feel works on each image :P
