Backwash Showdown by DrewHopper Backwash Showdown by DrewHopper
I'm not exactly sure of the name of this beach but I'm pretty sure it's called Shelly Beach in Nambucca, NSW Australia.

It's basically a little bay which is cut into the shoreline, making for some epic receding wave action. Taken after a beautiful sunset, the sky was arrayed with beautiful colour. The best shooting conditions I've had all year. Hopefully many more to come, enjoy.

I feel very sucked into this. I'm pretty sure that is white water covering the sand correct? It's amazing! The water runs straight into the waves and clash in a beautiful way. Not to mention the sky is perfect. Overall a wonderful shot. I hope I can shoot this well once I get more experiance later on.

It's a great stream of photos you have taken lately. You have had some wonderful weather. I have had nothing but overcast skies for the past week or so.

Great image - the peaceful sky, contrasted with the turbulent surf. Fantastic cloud formation to the right, too. Nice job.

One niggle - where's the EXIF? I would like to know at least the focal length of the lens for my own experiments in the future!

I can se that every one is telling you howgood these shots are but ruly they are outstanding..and the scenery is to die for. Is that intense color saturation due to the exposure length? I would so love to follow you around one day just to take a leaf out of your book...sterling work, indeed!
